We drove to Oregon and got her last night. It was nice to sit and visit. Jayden couldn't wait to start swimming! He needed to wait 2 weeks after his surgery, but one day before won't hurt. After we woke up, the kids couldn't wait to get in the pool (Trissten was there with her 3 kids). When it warmed up some, they went in the pool. Jayden was nervous at first. He didn't want to get his face wet at all. He was scared to try to touch the bottom because he didn't want his face to get wet. Once he saw that it wasn't so bad, he did good. There were times he wore the life jacket (which was a comfort to me), and times he didn't want to. He really liked holding on to the side of the pool and going along the edge all the way around. He liked floating on the big turtle that Trissten had brought. Eric got in the pool most of the times that Jayden was in there. They have a rule that an adult has to be there for kids to get in the pool. George and Marlene gave Jayden some squirters, so the kids had fun using those in the pool too. Jayden played hard all day and took a little nap in the afternoon. Eric's parents let us stay in the trailer, so Jayden took a nap there. I crocheted while he slept.
