Yum!

Eric must have tasted really good to Ginger because she started licking his head and didn't want to stop.  Eric said that it kind of hurt (which it would because he tongue is so rough).  Jayden and I thought it was funny!

Teagan's birthday!

After my race, I came home and got ready to go to Teagan's birthday party.  Jayden was excited to go play with his cousins.  The kids (including Eric) had fun jumping on the trampoline.  We ate dinner and then watched Teagan open his presents.  It was fun!

Huntsville half marathon!

Today I ran the Huntsville half marathon.  It was freezing in the morning before the race.  They let us stay in the buses until 9:30 (the half started at 10:00am).  That was the longest half hour ever.  There was no way to get warm.  It was the perfect day for running though.  I warmed up once I got going.  I actually had fun this race.  I completed it in 3 hours 15 minutes.  Not my best, but not my worse either.  I hadn't trained for this race at all.  I really need to start training.  I was proud of my time and of myself.  When I got close to the finish line, I saw Eric and Jayden.  I couldn't help but get the biggest smile on my face.  They were the motivation I needed to keep going to the finish line.  I am so thankful for Eric and Jayden and how they support me in what I do.  I love them so much!!!  I will be doing this race again next year!!!

Treehouse museum!

 Art project was a Viking longboat.  The letter of the week was Vv.

Jayden and Eric were racing up the adventure tower.

 

I have wanted to take Jayden to the Treehouse museum on Friday nights.  It has been closed for its yearly deep cleaning.  This is the first week it is open since then.  Eric has never been to the Treehouse with us, so he came along.  Jayden and Eric had lots of fun playing.  Jayden was so excited to show Eric everything.  It was lots of fun!!!!

Activity days--CTR block!

For activity days this time, we talked about choosing the right and agency.  I had the girls and Jayden paint a block of wood.  They were to paint CTR or choose the right on the blocks to help them remember to make the right choices.  It was fun!  I only had 2 girls there tonight and Jayden!

Jayden and Eric!

Jayden wanted to sit on Eric's feet.  When he did, Eric lifted him up with his legs.  Jayden loved that!  It was a fun ride for Jayden and good exercise for Eric!

Soccer!

Jayden is signed up for soccer.  He likes it but I think he puts too much stress on himself when it's game time.  He gets upset and then doesn't want to play.  When he did play, he scored 2 goals.  He is a good player and really fast.  He thinks fast and knows just what to do.  He doesn't have to think about getting the ball and then taking it to the goal, he just does it.  He is very talented!  I am his biggest fan!!!!

Having fun!!

We like to get silly and have fun!  I grabbed the camera to show some of the fun we had one night.  Jayden and Eric are really best buds!  Jayden likes to do things just like his daddy.  They have lots of fun together.  Jayden and I are best friends.  I love my little boy and we do lots of fun things together too.  Jayden loves his pets.  He takes such good care of them.  We are a happy family!  I couldn't have asked for a better family!  I have a wonderful husband who is so good and loving to me and the best father to Jayden!  I have the sweetest and cutest little boy!  We are truly blessed to have Jayden in our lives (thanks Jessica!).  He is my everything and I can't imagine my life without him!  I love him so much!!!!!

Activity days!

My calling at church is activity days for the girls 8-11.  It is a lot of fun!  I decided that we would do washer necklaces and paint nail polish on them.  We talked about how a circle is never ending like our love from our Heavenly Father.  I think the girls had lots of fun!  Jayden and I did.  Jayden gets to go with me because Eric works.  He is the best helper and just part of the group. 

Our new toy!

We bought Eric's grandpa's trailer.  He had to sale it because he needs to put Eric's grandma into an assisted living home and he has to sale everything.  It is well taken care of for the year (1990).  We got a good price and plan on doing updates in time.  We really enjoy being to have it and are excited to use it to go camping next year.  It is a 5th wheel so we will need to buy a truck.  We are planning on doing that in the spring.  Jayden had a blast running around the trailer.  He wanted to use the potty, sleep there and eat there.  I don't know why he was doing a thumb down, because he loved running around and being in the trailer.  He liked the couch being pulled out because that is where he will sleep.  It was so much fun to watch him!  He is so a cute boy!!! 


(The top picture of the trailer with the truck:  Eric and his brother Andy drove out to Oregon to get the trailer.  Andy has a 5th wheel so he was able to bring the trailer home for us.  They were gone for 3 days and drove pretty much the whole time.)

Zoo!

After Jayden's soccer game (I didn't get pictures because I had to coach), we went to the zoo.  It was a hot and humid day, but we still had fun!  Jayden likes to look at the map and direct us where to go.  We enjoyed seeing all the animals.  We rode the carousel 4 times in a row.  One time he rode the Bald Eagle.  Jayden said "I can't believe that I'm riding a bald eagle!"  When it was time to go, I let him pick one animal to see again.  He chose the gorillas.  We watched the gorillas for a long time.  He said "I think I want to stay with the gorillas forever!"  He is so cute!!  We left just before a rain storm came in.  We had a lot of fun!  I can't wait to do it again!!!
