Jayden's birthday cake
We had Jayden's birthday party at my parents home. We had my brother's family, my sister's family, my parents, and Eric's sister's family. We ate pizza and bread sticks. Played pin the star on Captain America's shield, and Hulk smash (used Hulk smash hands and knocked down boxes. The kids liked this game). We opened birthday presents. Jayden really liked all of his presents. He got a talking stuffed Darth Vader, Lego's, star wars guys, clothes, stuffed hulk and blanket, books, activity book and coloring book, a superhero cape and bag, Iron man and Captain America masks, shield, and iron man things, a toy story puzzle, magnetic foam blocks, play food, Mickey mouse clubhouse DVD, leap pad game, and a sponge bob Yahtzee game. We ate cake and then played doggie doggie where's your bone. It was a great party! Thanks everyone who came and supported Jayden's special day!!!
This day, 4 years ago, we brought Jayden home with us. It was our placement day! I remember driving to the hospital with the empty car seat and a diaper bag. They had to do a car seat test because he was born 3 weeks early. We talked with Jessica and spent time with Jayden. We got to hold Jayden for the first time. It was AMAZING!!! The time came to do all the legal stuff (signing papers). We went in with Jessica and others to spent more time. Our placement was the most spiritual thing! I felt the spirit so strong in that room. It was WONDERFUL!!! I will always love Jessica for placing Jayden in our family! She is part of our family forever. Jayden is the biggest blessing for Eric and I. I couldn't imagine life without him! He is everything to us! We love him so VERY much!!!!!!
