Christmas at grandma and grandpa's house!

We went over to my parents home and ate brunch.  We had pancakes, waffles, bacon, and eggs.  Yummy!!!  We opened presents.  Jayden got some clothes, some rescue bots, spider man and iron patriot, a monster truck, and more.  Later on, the kids played a Disney dance game on the Wii.  Jayden had some much fun dancing to the songs.  It was awesome to watch him!  I love him so much!!!

Christmas day!

We had a fabulous Christmas!!  Jayden got lots of fun things.  He got a red truck, a bike, lots of superhero costumes, rescue bots, superhero guys, lots of books, leap pad games, clothes and pajamas, a superhero dart board (from Prescott's), avengers books with a light projector thing (from Jessica), and more.  Eric got some University of Oregon shirts, sweatshirt, and pants, white t-shirts, a recovery mix, pajamas, and more.  I got a ipad mini, compression socks and calf sleeves, pajamas, socks (fun, long ones), and more.  We had a great day!  It was the best watching Jayden open his presents.  He was so excited and polite.  It was the best day ever!!!!!


The dogs got some toys and they liked playing with them for a little while.  They are getting old too, so they don't play as long as they used to.  Rocket joined us after a while and had fun playing with his red pom pom ball.  He loves them!

Ginger!

Ginger has always loved Christmas.  When we first got her, she would wake us up early (like 6am) to open presents.  Strange that a cat would do that but she did.  She was relentless, so there was no getting any sleep anyway.  Well, she still loves Christmas.  She doesn't wake us up early anymore (partly because she is getting too old to get on and off the bed.  She has arthritis and pain in her back, shoulder, and elbow).  When Santa puts out the cats Christmas presents, she will tear through any other presents that get in her way just to get to her toys.  She almost opened a few of the presents trying to get to her toys, so we just put the cat toys on the couch and she played with the ones that were hers.  She turns into this playful "kitten".  She got some plastic bat rings.  She LOVES them for some strange reason.  She was playing with them and hitting the under the couches.  She was having a blast!  She is a wonderful cat!  I love her so much!!!!

Jazz game!

Eric got tickets to a Jazz game through his work.  His name was drawn and so we got to go.  The seats were good.  It was a good game.  Too bad the Jazz lost to the Portland Trailblazers.  It was nice for Eric and I to go on a date (just the two of us!  That doesn't happen very often). 

Jayden is ready for church...

We were getting ready for church.  Jayden got dressed by himself.  He matched his clothes pretty good.  I love the addition of his boots.  They happen to match too.  He is such a cute boy!!!

Advent!

Every year my mom gives the grand kids a advent calendar.  Jayden couldn't wait to start his, so being the first day of December, he got to do the first door.  He even ate the chocolate behind it.  He doesn't eat chocolate but he does eat this chocolate.  He is so funny!  I love watching how excited he gets to do things.  It makes me excited too!  I love him so much!!!!

Hideout!

Jayden was in his room playing and then he yelled for Eric and I to come see his hideout.  He had all his stuffed animals and blankets and himself under his Buzz Lightyear blanket.  He called it his hideout.  He popped out when I took the picture.  He is so creative!

Christmas tree!

We put up our Christmas tree today.  Jayden was excited and very helpful.  Eric let him put on the top part.  Jayden helped us decorate the tree with our ornaments.  It was fun looking at some of the ornaments and remembering when we got them.  Lots of memories!  Jayden got to put on the snowman that we use for the top of the tree.  We listened to Christmas music while we put things up.  We put a few other decorates up around the living room too.  Jayden got to hang our stockings on our stocking holder.  I love to see his excitement!!!

Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving this year at Thanksgiving point.  My cousins husband works there and so we got a large room in one of the clubhouses.  Eric couldn't go because he had to work.  Jayden and I went with my parents.  There was lots of good food and company.  It was good to see my cousins and their families, my aunts and uncles, and my grandpa.  My cousins husband took the kids on a ride on a golf cart.  Jayden LOVED it!!!  He went a couple times.  He wanted to go every time but they had to take turns.  What a fun day!!

Activity days--journals!

For activity days, we talked about qualities we like it other people.  We had to think of a quality that we wanted to work on with ourselves and write that down.  We decorated journals (notebooks).  It was fun!
