Riding scooters!

We took the kids (Jayden, Sasha, and Sampson) over to the school to let them ride scooters.  They had fun riding on the ramp for one of the portables. 

Union Station!

Jayden, my mom, Sasha and Sampson, and I went to the Union Station.  It was fun!  They had fun pretending and playing in the kid area.  It has become more interactive for the children which is great! 

Primary activity!

Today was our primary parade and water activity.  Jayden decided that he wanted to ride his scooter this year.  I helped him decorate it.  Eric came up on his bike and rode with the kids in the parade.  Jayden had fun!  After the parade, the did water baseball.  Jayden loved sitting in the pools, and laying in them on his stomach.  It was funny!  It was a fun day!!

Treehouse museum!

I felt bad that Jayden didn't have fun at the park, so I took him to the Treehouse museum with my mom.  He had lots of fun building with Lego's, bubble painting, playing in the diner, and doing lots of other things.

I took Jayden to Sand Ridge Park to play.  The toys were hot, and we didn't stay very long.  He had fun for the little time we were there.  He decided that he wanted to go because the toys were too hot and he wanted someone to play with. 

Squirt gun painting!

I let Jayden try painting with squirt guns.  I saw the idea from Pinterest.  I thought it looked like fun!  I got some squirt guns, filled them with washable paint and water, then put a large piece of paper on the ground.  I would probably have it hanging from something next time.  Jayden had fun squirting the paint onto the paper with the squirt guns.  Cool art!!

Eagle Lake--day 8!

Today we got ready to leave and start the LONG drive home.  We said our good-byes and got on our way.  The drive was long and boring.  We stopped a few times to take a potty break and grab something to eat.  One stop we got ice cream.  Jayden climbed in a high chair.  He said "look, I fit!"  He needed help getting out because his legs were too long.  He is a funny guy!!  We made it home at 12:30am. 

Eagle Lake--day 7!

Jayden and I played some outdoor games together--ladder game or whatever its called, and Go gator which is a ring toss game.  Go gator was Jayden's favorite.  We have had a fun time!  We decided to stay an extra day.  We were supposed to go home today but Eric wanted more time with his family.  Jayden wanted to stay and play some more with his cousins, so we stayed one more night.  It was nice.  It was a beautiful place to camp!

Eagle Lake--day 6!

We all went to the lake again today.  Eric joined in this time.  The adults went out further and threw a ball to each other.  The kids stayed where it was shallow and crawled in the sand, and dug in the sand.  They had fun!  Jayden rode his scooter around the loop while some of his cousins rode their bikes.  He tried his bike but couldn't go as fast.  He wanted to try taking off his training wheels, but when we tried, he was afraid of tipping over, so we put them back on. 

Eagle Lake--day 5!

Everyone went down to the lake.  It was shallow for quite a ways out.  Jayden liked scooting on his hands and knees, and elbows through the water.  They said it was warm water.  Jayden liked digging in the sand too.  The sand was black and would stick to him, so it was fun scrubbing it off in our trailers tiny shower (with hardly any water pressure).  It liked being in the water.  Later, Eric's mom helped Jayden cut some wood with an axe.  This is the wood he cut.  He was proud of that.

Eagle Lake--day 4!

Jayden rode around on his scooter a lot with his cousins.  He liked sitting in Andy's hammock because it was closer to the ground.  The kids liked playing outdoor games too like badminton.
