Marvel books!

Jayden was trying to think of a villain girl that fights the Avenger's that I could be.  He had someone in mind but didn't know her name, so Eric and Jayden got their Marvel books that has LOTS of marvel characters and looked for a villain girl.  They looked cute going through the books together!

Zoo!

We went to the zoo.  We got there first thing.  It was really nice because there weren't many people there right at first.  It was a good day to go because it wasn't too hot.  They animals were more active.  It was lots of fun!

Roy aquatic center!

We went with Kristine's family and my parents (Jayden and I.  Eric went golfing) to the Roy Aquatic center for the NICU reunion.  All of Kristine's children were preemie's.  They had princesses and princes there, and Spiderman and Iron man.  Jayden only wanted a picture with the superheros, and the frozen characters.  They had treats there like cotton candy, little snow cones, popcorn, and water.  Jayden and I indulged in the junk food!  Jayden really like playing in the water with London and Teagan.  It got cold so he got out (that's when we had the treats). 

Ice bucket challenge!

There is an ice bucket challenge going around on social media (facebook) that people do and then nominate others to do.  It is to raise awareness and money for ALS--a horrible disease.  London nominated my mom and Jayden.  Teagan nominated my dad and Eric.  Abigail nominated Eric too.  Jayden nominated me, so we all decided to do it on the same night.  It was kind of fun!  I used the smallest bucket I could find.  Jayden wanted to dump the bucket of water on his head and he wanted to dump it on mine.  Good times!

Activity days!

For activity days, we were going to go for a walk, but it was cloudy and looked like it might rain.  We decided to play some games inside.  Sister Dunford brought some items (jump rope, hula hoop, basket ball, etc) for the girls to play with.  We also played some "sit in a circle games".  They were fun!

The color run!

Kristine and I did the color run!  I had no idea really what to expect other than they throw color on you.  It was a 5K run, but we walked most of it.  It was a lot of fun!!!  I would like to do it again.  There were lots of people doing it.  We got pink first, then orange, then purple, then yellow.  At the finish, they give you a color packet.  I got yellow and Kristine got green.  We tossed a little on each other.  The finish was a party!  People would throw their color in the air and it got on everyone (if you were part of the group.  We didn't want to get super colored.  Maybe next year).  It was color to watch.  It was a lot of fun!!!

My super heros!

Eric put on his superman shirt when getting dressed today.  Jayden ran to his room and said he was going to get dressed but we couldn't look.  He came out in his superman shirt and levi's just like Eric.  It was really cute!  Eric said that he loves that Jayden wanted to wear the same shirt.  I love my two super hero's!!!

Jayden's first day of kindergarten!

Jayden is going to kindergarten!  I can't believe it!!!  Eric took him on his first day.  Jayden was so excited!  They play on the playground until the first bell rings.  Jayden found a neighbor friend there.  After the first bell rang, Jayden was the first to get in line.  His teachers name is Mrs. Possie'.  She seems like she will be good.  Eric talked to the school secretary (she is a neighbor), and she said that Mrs. Possie' is a really good teacher.  Jayden was the line leader, then when they got to the door to go inside, he was the door holder.  He was so cute!  He found where his backpack goes, he found his name thing at the table where he sits.  I was at work holding back the tears.  I was so emotional!  I can't believe that my baby is in kindergarten!  I am proud of the little boy that he is growing up to be.  He is such a fun, loving, sweet, funny boy! Eric sent me a text photo because he was emotional too.  After he got home from dropping him off, he started crying.  He said he missed his wrestling buddy!   Eric picked him up from school (they get out early this week), and took him to my parents house.  Jayden had lots of fun at school!  He was tired because he ended up falling asleep at my parents house for a couple hours.  I am glad he likes school!
