Dinosaur park!

Jayden and I went to the Dinosaur Park for just a little bit.  We were going to go camping later, so we couldn't stay long.  We got a book and did a little scavenger hunt for some of the dinosaurs.  At the end, we showed the front desk and Jayden got to choose a little toy lizard.  We had fun looking at dinosaurs we don't normally look at and taking different paths.

Camping trip!

We went camping at Wasatch Mountain State Park up by Midway.  We wanted to have one last camping trip and Jayden wanted it to be in the mountains.  We found this place and reserved it.  We went from August 12-15.  It was a nice place and quiet.  There were trees and we would love to return there again.  We couldn't check in until 5pm on Wednesday, so we didn't leave until the evening.  We were having problems with our fridge.  It would stay on, so we left later then we wanted.  We got up there and got backed in to our tiny spot.  Eric did a good job getting the trailer into our spot.  We were spot 80, which wasn't bad, but was a tight fit.  We made dinner and watched a movie.  The next morning, Jayden was up early and bored.  I guess I didn't have enough activities to keep him busy on his own.  I got up with him, and he wanted to ride his scooter.  Jayden and I did a few laps around the loop.  We saw some other spots we liked that we might try in the future.  It was a beautiful morning!  We went back after a little while and hung out by the trailer.  We had breakfast, and played Go Gator!  which is a washer toss game.  Jayden really loves it!  We ate lunch, then drove into Park City.  We did a little school shopping for Jayden, then ate dinner.  After dinner, we went to the Utah Olympic Park and rode the Alpine Slide.  Jayden rode with Eric.  He loved it!  It was late and they were getting ready to close, so we couldn't do it again.  We watched the ski jumpers practicing.  Jayden enjoyed watching them.  After a little while, we left so we could go back.  We made a quick stop at Wal-mart for some allergy medicine for Eric and a few things for Jayden to keep busy with in the mornings (a coloring/paint book, and some creepy crawlers toys).  We played some more Go gator!  We went for a walk around the loop a few times and Jayden rode his scooter.  We watched a movie and went to sleep.  Friday morning, the toys were a success.  Jayden played so we could sleep a little longer.  It was a hot day, so we spent most the day in the trailer.  Jayden made a bracelet with beads, he did a sand bottle kit, and painted a pictures in his book.  We watched a movie.   We did drive into Midway to get gas.  We drove down main street and Eric found a place to turn around.  It just happened to be a park, so Jayden wanted to play on the toys. We let him play for a little while.  It was fun!  We went back to the campsite and Eric and Jayden played Go gator some more while I made scones for dinner.  After we played some card games (skip-bo and phase 10).  After it got dark, we made a fire and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores.  We finished our game of phase 10 inside and then went to sleep.  Saturday we ate breakfast, and started getting ready to leave.  Right before we left, Jayden was riding his scooter and fell.  He scraped up his hand.  When we got home, Eric cleaned it out and wrapped it up.  It was such a fun camping trip!  We can't wait to do it again!!!!

Diezel!

Jayden has had his little play tent up in the living room because he has been sleeping in it.  One day, Diezel decided that he wanted to take a nap on Jayden's blankets.  It was cute!

Treehouse museum!

The Treehouse museum had their Kindergarten carnival, but anyone could go and enjoy the fun.  It was also free to go inside the Treehouse.  I decided last minute to take Jayden.  There were LOTS of people, but Jayden had fun doing the carnival activities they had.  He really liked the giant connect four game.  We saw his kindergarten teacher that he had last year there, Ms. Possie.  They played a game of connect four.  We went inside the Treehouse and Jayden decided to do the hero dress-up.  He looked so cute in all the costumes.  We didn't play long inside because it was time for them to close.  We had fun for the little amount of time we did go.

Drax!

Jayden asked me for a couple days if we could paint him to look like Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy.  I finally broke down, and did it.  I used his washable paint and painted him.  He thought it was so cool!  When the paint dried, he didn't like the way it felt, so he washed it off in the shower.  He is cute a fun boy!!!!
