Star Wars book!

One of the times Jayden went to the library, he checked out a Star Wars ABC book.  He has rechecked it out for about a year.  He just won't return it.  Eric and I decided we just needed to buy him one of his own.  When it came in the mail, we let him open the box.  He was so surprised and excited!  He went straight into his room and started reading it.  He is so cute!!

Union Station!

Jayden and I went with my mom to the Union Station.  Jayden really enjoys going there and seeing the different things.  He likes to play in the "play" room (where the front of an engine is).  He also likes to climb in the caboose they have.  I love my little boy so much!!!  It is so much fun to spend time with him!

Dominoes game!

I had got a dominoes game for Jayden a little while back.  He saw it and wanted to play it.  He is old enough now to understand it.  He had a lot of fun playing the game.  The dogs wanted to be part of it, but they didn't understand that it wasn't part of the game to lay on the cards, or walk on top of them.  Silly dogs!!  Jayden, Eric and I had fun playing the game together as a family!!!

Rock Star!!!!

Jayden was pretending to be a rock star.  Eric let him use one of the rock band guitars and Jayden was jumping around, pretending to play guitar and saying "rock star!"  It was so awesome!!!!

"piggy back ride"

Jayden was playing with one of his build-a-bear bear's.  He said that his bear needed a piggy back ride, so he held his hands and walked around with him on his back.

Sandbox!

I have been doing some cleaning of the basement and Jayden found some small shovels and rakes I had for him.  He asked if he could play with them.  I told him yes.  He took them outside and Eric and Jayden played in the sandbox.  They made a sandcastle, and turtles.  They had lots of fun making things in the sand. 

Zoo!

Eric, Jayden and I went to the zoo with my mom, Kristine and her kids, Randy and his kids and Sasha's friend.  We walked around and saw the animals.  We rode the carousel at least 6 times.  We ate lunch.  We had a lot of fun!!!!

Ward picnic!

Jayden and I went with my parents to their ward picnic.  We had fun!  It was at SandRidge Park.  Jayden played on the playground for a long time, we ate, and they had some water games (balloon toss with towels, and water rocket launch, and water balloons).  Jayden participated in them all.  He is such a fun boy!!!!  I love being with him!

Sky!

Sky always ends up with food powder all over her face.  Food powder is the stuff at the bottom of the bowl that comes off the food pieces.  I am not sure what else to call it.  It is so funny!  She had it all over her face after eating today and I just had to take a picture! 

Jayden's "cast"!

I wasn't sure if I had a picture of Jayden's knee wrapped up, so I took one before we took it off.  Jayden kept calling it his cast.  He is such a cute kid!

Yellowstone National Park and Bear World--day 3!

Good-bye Yellowstone!  We left today.  As we drove toward home, we stopped at Bear World on our way.  We saw lots of animals there--Bald eagle, elk, deer, lots of bears, a moose, and a wolf.  There were bear cubs and ducks.  Jayden fed the ducks and fish.  There was a little petting zoo and he got to pet a pig, fawn, a deer, he followed a chicken around.  He saw a peacock, geese, and lots of other animals.  There were also some little rides to go on.  A spinning bear thing, a train, a car ride, and a little roller coaster.  Jayden liked doing the rides.  We left Bear World, got lunch and drove home.  It is nice to be home after a vacation.
