Helping!

It was snowing and Jayden and I needed to go run some errands.  Jayden helped me by brushing the snow off the car windows.  He is a great helper!

Who am I?

Jayden was having fun dressing up!  He made us close our eyes and then open them when he was out to see which superhero he was dressed up as.  He is so full of energy and imagination!  I love it!

Rocket!

Jayden went into his room to put on his pajamas.  He came back out and told Eric and I that we needed to go look in his room.  We went in there and saw Rocket curled up in Jayden's pajama drawer.  It was so cute!!!!

Birthday dinner!

Jayden wanted to pick a place to go eat for his birthday.  We are a little late, but he decided on IHOP.  It was fun!  I love being with my family!!

Dads and donuts!

Jayden's school had a dads and donuts night.  The dads got to go with the kids to school and have donuts and play some games.  Jayden and Eric both had a great time!

Birthday present!

Jayden got a birthday present in the mail from George and Marlene.  He opened it.  He got an activity book, little star wars guys, parachute guys, and a card.  He enjoyed getting them.  Thanks!!

Jayden's birthday party!

I can't believe that our sweet little boy is turning 7!!  Where has the time gone?  We had his birthday party at the church.  He wanted a Star Wars: The Force Awakens party.  He had lots of cousins come and they all had lots of fun!  We ate chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, Doritos, jello (with Han Solo inside), powdered donuts, cake, ice cream, vegetables, water, and juice.  It was yummy!  They played X-wing game.  Eric made an awesome X-wing and they would take it and toss bean bags at a target.  There was Jedi training (obstacle course), and a piñata.  They had lots of fun "fighting" with the "light sabers".  Darth Vader came and they loved battling with him.  It was a great party!!!

The air mattress!

We took down the air mattress because school is starting back up tomorrow for Jayden, so it is time for the fun to end.  Now we need to get back into a routine.  Jayden helped deflate the mattress.  He was being so funny when the air was going out of it.

Lego Death Star!

Today was a holiday, so Jayden didn't have school.  He worked all day to get the Lego Death Star finished.  He finally finished it by himself.  He was so proud of his hard work!  It is really awesome!!!!  Way to go Jayden!  We are so proud of you!

Sleep over in the living room!

Jayden didn't have school on Friday, Jan. 15 and I took the day off to stay home with him.  We decided on Thursday, Jan. 14, to blow up the air mattress and have a family sleep over in the living room.  We watched some movies and slept on the air mattress.  It was fun!  I forgot to get a picture of us that night.  Jayden and I slept there Friday, Jan. 15.  Jayden slept there the 16th, and 17th.  He loved it!!

Ginger likes Jayden!

Ginger has been hanging out in Jayden's room a lot lately.  She has been sleeping on his bed.  She will sleep on the floor by his closet.  I told Jayden that Ginger likes him.  He said no, she likes yarn and my blanket are yarn.

Cute Ginger!

Ginger is so cute!  Eric, Jayden and I had a sleepover on the air mattress in the living room Thursday night.  Jayden and I slept there Friday night, and we haven't taken it down yet.  Ginger got nice and cozy with the pillows and blankets.  It was really cute!!

Treehouse museum!

Jayden and I went to the Treehouse museum.  He had the day off of school, so I took the day off of work.  Eric had a work an overtime shift at the auto-expo.  Jayden and I went and had a good time.  There are some new touch screen computers there that he likes.  We played those for a while, he drew a superhero, built with the large blue blocks, and did a couple other things.  He got to put some pennies in the wishing well.  He loves doing that!  We had a really fun time!!

Drake!

Drake was curled up on one of the throw pillows.  He looked so cute!!!

Oh Ginger!

Ginger loves to lay by Eric's art bag.  He is taking an art class for one of his generals in school.  Every time he puts his art bag somewhere, Ginger goes and lays by it!  She is so funny!

Missing teeth!

Jayden wanted me to take a picture to put on my phone for my screen saver, with all his missing teeth.  He has five missing teeth!

Union Station!

Jayden and I went to the Union Station.  It was the last day for the Brave the Maze exhibit.  We have really liked that exhibit.  We wanted to be able to do it one last time.  We also went and looked in the train museum.  We had lots of fun!

Ginger!

I was trying to crochet and Ginger laid on my bag of yarn!  She is so silly!  She just LOVES yarn.  It makes it hard to crochet when we is always playing or laying on my yarn.  Lots of times she will grab it with her teeth and walk around with it.

Another lost tooth!

Jayden lost a tooth at school today.  It is his top right incisor.  I can't believe how many teeth he is losing!  He said a girl at school put her hand on his face and it hit is tooth which came out.  He found it on the ground outside and put it in a baggie to bring home. 

Math and Science night!

It was math and science night at Jayden's school!  They had pizza for dinner and then LOTS of fun math activities to learn/try.  Discovery Gateway did a 20 minute science presentation which was cool!  We only got to do about 3 math activities--Tenzi, race around the track, and ipads.  We were going to do movi max, but I talked Jayden into doing something he can't do all the time.  It was a lot of fun!!

Ready to sleep!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Eric, Jayden and I went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the movie theatre.  We went to the 6:50pm showing (kind of late), but it was an awesome movie!  We can't wait for the next one to come out!

Brave the Maze!

Jayden, Eric, and I went to the Union Station to do the Brave the Maze.  It is a lot of fun!  It is only going to be there until Jan. 9.  Jayden and I have gone two other times to do it and have had lots of fun!  We do it over and over for about 1 1/2-2 hours.  It is about the colonists that came over and it is like a choose your own adventure.  You choose different things and that tells you if you gain or lose things on your life board.  There is health, food, wealth, and morale.  We had lots of fun!!!
