Jayden's fort!

Jayden decided to build a fort.  I helped a little, but he did most of it by himself.  He went to go in it and Ginger was there.  She thought he made it for her because she was not about to move.  It was funny!  Jayden finally did get inside his fort!

Oh how cute!

It was getting late, and we were getting ready to go to bed soon.  Jayden was being silly and pretending to sleep in our bed.  Eric laid down and Jayden started cuddling with him.  It was so cute!

Union Station!

My mom needed to renew her pass to the Union Station, so Jayden and I went with.  We went into the museums.  Jayden liked playing in the kids train area.  He was having lots of fun!

Play ground!

I took Jayden to the lunch at Valley View elementary.  He ate a little bit.  He wanted to play on the play ground for a little bit. 

Trailer!

I needed to take some things out to the trailer, so Jayden and I went.  Once we got in there, he didn't want to leave.  I let him play a while and watched him. 

Library!

We needed to go return some books to the library.  There weren't very many people there, so Jayden decided he wanted to play.  He played with the Legos, and some building things.  He had lots of fun!

Ice cream with chocolate syrup!

Jayden normally just likes vanilla ice cream.  He has refused to try anything on his ice cream.  Well, tonight he surprised me.  He asked for chocolate syrup on his ice cream.  He tried the caramel syrup too but didn't like it.  He loved the chocolate syrup. 

Bounce house!

Winegar's was having an anniversary, so they had some activities and sales.  They had a bounce house that I let Jayden play in for a while.  It was probably about an hour or so.  He loved it and had lots of fun!!!  He got a free ball too.  It was fun!

Eric and Jayden!

Eric went in the pool with Jayden.  They did a "challenge", played with sea animals, and pretended to swim laps.  They had lots of fun playing in the pool!

Eric's headphones!

Jayden and I got up before Eric, so Jayden wanted to use Eric's headphones to listen to TV.  When he puts them on, he says a sign on like his daddy.  When Eric signs on for work he will say something like this.  Jayden has heard him many times, so he was being like his dad.

Backyard movie night!

Eric, Jayden and I decided to watch a movie outside on our shed.  Eric put a sheet on the shed, borrowed a projector, and we put up chairs to watch a movie.  It was lots of fun!!!!!  We watched Monsters University.  (We did it again the next night and watched Wreck-it Ralph).  We had a lot of fun!!!

Rocket!

Rocket is a sweetheart!  He likes to sleep on our bed, but I found him on Jayden's bed one day!  (Our door was closed because Eric was taking a nap).  I thought it was cute!  He will also sleep on my dresser on a blanket I have there.  We have sweet cats!!

Pool time!

Jayden goes in the pool while Eric takes a nap.  It gives Eric a chance to nap before work with less noise, and Jayden can have fun and cool off.  He is getting braver.  He was slashing more and moving in the pool on his hands.  Way to go Jayden!!

Rainbow!

My mom called and told us to hurry and look outside at the rainbow.  There was a double rainbow but you can't see the other one very good.  It was really light.  I love rainbows!

Jayden's pool!

After Jayden enjoyed swimming in the Eric's parents pool in Oregon, and the neighbors pool, I figured I would get him a little blow up pool.  Jayden and I went a bought a pool, filled it up with air and water, and Jayden has had fun going in it.  He was nervous at first.  He kept holding onto the side, but he got braver and braver the longer he was in it. 

Drake!

I don't know what it is about this stuffed blue bunny, but the dogs love it.  I bought it many years ago when Diezel was a puppy.  All the dogs love to play with it.  Sky will carry it around, and Drake will chew it.  I looked over and saw Drakes paw on the blue bunny.  I thought it was so sweet!  We have some sweet dogs!!

Activity days--swimming!

 

 

For activity days we went swimming in my neighbor's pool.  They have a pool in their backyard.  It was lots of fun!  One of the girls brought a ball that Jayden liked throwing in the pool to the girls.  He would go in the pool, but stay on the stairs.  It was a good day for a swim!  After the girls left, Beth (my neighbor) had Jayden go in to show him that he could touch the bottom of the pool.  Jayden did it and was excited to walk along the side holding onto the wall.  He is getting so brave!  I am proud of my son!!

Cute cats!

Jayden said "mom come look at the cats."  This is what I saw when I came into the living room.  Ginger and Rocket were actually sleeping close to each other.  Sometimes they will do that.  It is too cute! 

Jayden and the dogs!

Jayden was playing in his pop-up play tent thing down in the playroom, and the dogs (Drake and Sky) decided to check it out inside.  Jayden thought that was cool, so he wanted me to take a picture.

Jayden's campout!

Jayden has a little pop-up play tent thing.  He asked if he could take it up to the living room and sleep in it at night.  I told him that would be fine.  He took it up and put his blankets and stuff in it.  I slept on the couch for a little while and he slept in his tent.  He slept there for a long time.  He didn't wake up until close to 10am. 

Oregon fun comes to an end!

We woke up and got ready to head home.  It is a drive I do not like to make.  We stopped in Boise and ate at IHOP.  Jayden loved it there because they have what he likes (pancakes).  He took a little nap on the ride home.  We saw a grass fire off the side of the road near Snowville.  There were lots of fires in Oregon and Idaho.  We did smell the smoke a lot which was not great.  We did have a good visit and stayed up late every night.  I am glad that we were able to go and spend some time with Eric's family.  It will be nice to be home and see the dogs and cats again!  I missed them.  We will have to start planning our next trip out there again for next year.

Oregon fun (3)!

We took our soccer net and balls with us.  The kids would play soccer once in a while during the day.  They would also play in the sand box a little too.  Jayden liked wrestling and running around with Kellen.  The pool was part of the day today too a couple times.  Eric tried feeding a deer.  It got really close to him, but then got spooked and ran away.  It is neat how deer will come hang out on their property.  Jayden has been sleeping inside with the kids except for the first night.  He has liked sleeping with them.
