Good helper!

One of Jayden's chores before we went anywhere was to make his bed.  He had stuffed animals on the floor and I didn't want the dogs getting them.  He likes to close his door, so that it is a surprise.  He did a great job! 

Zoo!

Jayden and I decided to go to the zoo.  It was busy there.  We had fun!  The African Savanna was open, so we saw the giraffe's new home, we saw zebras and ostrich's.  We saw the lions--my favorite!  We got to ride the train which was lots of fun!  We rode the carousal.  We saw all the other animals in the zoo.  Jayden liked the slide in the kiddie cove place.  We had fun!  (We had to pick Eric up from the road respect ride in SLC, that is why we decided to go to the zoo beforehand).

Station park!

Jayden and I went to an adoption carnival at the Davis County fairgrounds, but it really wasn't a carnival.  It was just a fundraiser for people to earn money for adoption.  We decided to go to Station Park and see what it is like there.  Jayden loved playing on the little play ground that was there. 

Crabs!

The crabs (one of the class pets in my room) came home for the summer and they are spending that time in Jayden's room.  He really likes to watch them.  (The fish, my other class pet, came home also.  They are in mine and Eric's room.)

Activity days--friends!

For activity days, we had a lesson on being friends with everyone and being nice.  We played an M & M get to know you game, and then we made friendship bracelets with loom bands.  It was fun!

Plate!

I got a plate from the dollar store and had Jayden put a hand print on it.  I had him write his name and I wrote the year and his age.  I really LOVE it!!!!

My little artist!

I got a small canvas for Jayden to make a picture on.  This is his outcome! He had fun painting on it.

Sprinklers!

Jayden asked if he could run through the sprinklers.  It was a hot day, so why not?!  He had fun!  Of course, he had to use his Captain America shield.  He is such a funny boy!  He got nice and wet!!!

Camp out in the living room!

Jayden asked when we could sleep on the air mattress in the living room.  (We did it one time last year and had lots of fun).  We decided that tonight would be a good night to do it.  We moved the couches and blew up the air mattress.  We hung a screen and used a projector to watch a movie.  Jayden decided on Alice in Wonderland.  We ate ice cream for a treat (we had Neapolitan.  Jayden liked all the colors).  Jayden and I fell asleep before the movie ended.  It was a not the best night as far as getting good sleep, but it was a LOT of fun!!!!!

 

Last game of the season!

This was Jayden's last soccer game of the season.  He came so far during this soccer year.  I am proud of how hard he worked and that he had fun!  I love him so very much!!!!

Our patio!

We decided to get rid of one of the flower beds in the front because it was a pain to keep the horrible grass and weeds out.  It was a mess!  We decided to make a little patio.  It will be nice when Jayden is playing in the front, so we can sit out there and keep an eye on him.  It will also be nice because that is where the shade is in the evenings.  We are planning to put some chairs.  I love it!

Long day!

Jayden had a soccer game, and then we had lots of errands to run.  This was almost the last place.  Jayden was tired of walking so he laid down in the cart.  He is putting on some work gloves.  He really wanted his own work gloves like Eric so when he helps Eric, then he can use his work gloves.

We were watching TV and Jayden fell asleep on the floor.  Sky and Drake cuddled up next to him and went to sleep also.  Jayden likes when the dogs or cats sleep by him.  Super cute!!!!

Soccer!

Jayden played soccer on Saturday and they had their pictures.  The pictures were during their warm up/practice time, so they got done and went straight to playing a game.  Jayden did awesome this game.  The other team was pretty good.  Jayden scored 2 of our 3 goals.  He kept with the ball and really went for it.  I was so proud of him!  He has come so far since he first started playing soccer in the fall!  I love him so much!!!!

What is Eric building?

Eric is building.....again.  What is it going to be?  I will let you know when it is finished.  I am excited about it.  It will be awesome!!!!

Photo shoot!

Jayden and I were in the Tahoe waiting for Eric.  Jayden put on some sunglasses (old ones of mine) and I took some pictures.  He is so funny!  He can't just smile anymore, he has to pull faces.  He is too cute!!!!
