Our cute cats!

Ginger and Rocket were actually sleeping on the couch together.  It was amazing!  They haven't done that much lately!  It was so cute!  I love my cats!!!!

Eric's hard work!

Here are some of the projects that Eric worked on this summer.  We had someone do our sprinklers in our backyard (not the best experience), and he ended up breaking our mailbox post.  Eric built a new mailbox post.  He also built a wall and put up some shelves in our carport.  Way to go sweetie pie!!

Our fantastic fort!!

We decided to build a fort for Jayden.  He had so much fun playing in it.  Eric and I got in it too.  We decided to take some pictures of our wonderful family!!!  We were having so much fun and lots of laughs!!

Jayden's first soccer game!!

We signed Jayden up to play AYSO soccer.  They asked Eric if he would coach, so he said yes.  We have 5 boys on our team--which the kids named Avengers.  We have maroon colored shirts.  This was our first game of the season.  Once the boys knew which way to go, they did really well.  I don't even know the score.  Jayden scored a lot of goals himself.  There was a boy on the other team that kept pushing our boys.  Jayden didn't like it so he took himself out of the game and it took lots of convincing to get him to go back in.  Our team won the game!  It was lots of fun to watch our sweet little boy playing his first soccer game!  I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!!!

Jayden's pillow!

I have a little pillow that I made that I sleep with at night.  Jayden would tease me and keep taking it.  I told him that I would make him his own little pillow.  We I have some left over material from when I made stuff in Jr. high.  I let him pick what he wanted and off to grandma's we went to borrow her sewing machine.  I sewed and Jayden stuffed, and we ended up with his very own little pillow!

"make-up!:

I have a little box of chap stick that is in my nightstand drawer.  Jayden calls it make-up.  He likes to get into it and put the chap stick on.  Some of them leave some color.  Jayden had put on the red and this is the wonderful job he did.  He is so funny!!!!

Davis county fair!!!

Eric, Jayden and I went to the Davis county fair.  It was a very hot day but we had fun!  Jayden loved looking at the animals.  Some even made noises which surprised us (like the horse that neighed after we walked by).  They had a petting zoo that Jayden liked.  He got to pet lots of animals--rabbit, goats, horse, calf, donkey, sheep, llama, etc.  We got Jayden some awesome belts (could resist).  They are super hero's.  We had a good time!!!

Our campout!!

We wanted to go camping in our backyard all summer.  The summer went by so fast and so we decided to do it before I had to go back to work.  Jayden helped Eric put up the tent.  He loved helping.  He couldn't wait to go inside the tent.  He was so excited about camping outside and sleeping in the tent.  He was running around and had the biggest grin on his face.  I have to admit that it was contagious!  It got me more and more excited watching him!!!  We pulled out his mattress for him to sleep on and blew up the air mattress for Eric and I.  Jayden started bringing out half his room (pillows, blankets, dream lite, etc).  Eric and Jayden played hide-n-seek.  Jayden was so excited, he needed to release some energy.  We got our pajama's on and then made a fire in our fire pit.  We roasted marshmallows (Eric and I did, Jayden just ate them from the bag.  He did help roast one for me.  He had fun doing that).  I just love roasting marshmallows over the fire and making s'mores!  YUMMY!!!!  Jayden couldn't wait to go to sleep, so we went in the tent and laid down.  He settled down and went to sleep.  We had so much fun!!!!

Our adventure to Salt Lake!

My parents said they would go with Jayden and I to the Clark Planetarium to see a show this summer.  The summer went by so fast, so we decided before I go back to work that we needed to go.  (I got a pass from Groupon to the Clark Planetarium for Jayden and I).  My dad wasn't up to going yet because of his surgery, so my mom went with Jayden and I.  We rode the Front runner (it was Jayden and my first time riding it) and then walked to the Planetarium.  It wasn't too far.  We looked at the free exhibits before the show.  Jayden had fun pushing the buttons.  The show was cute!  It was about this alien family taking a vacation and trying to find a planet to vacation on.  We learned about each planet.  After the show, we went and ate lunch at the food court, then walked back to the Front runner station.  We had to wait for a little bit for the train, so we went up and down the escalator that was there.  It took you to the Trax line that goes to the airport.  Jayden had so much fun going up and down the escalator.  We rode the train home.  We had a fun day!!!
