Happy Halloween!!

I was so excited to take Jayden trick or treating tonight.  He was excited!  Eric and I took him to 2 houses, then my mom went with Jayden and I to more houses.  He was so cute going up to the doors, and saying "trick or treat!"  Then he said "thank you" after he got the treat!  I LOVED watching him!  He is growing up so fast!!

Eric's new car!

Eric got a really nice treat for Halloween.  He got a new patrol car.  It is pretty awesome and even has the new car smell!  Love that car!!

Glass slipper!

Part of London's invitation was a plastic glass slipper.  Jayden wanted to see if it fit anyone, so he tried it on everyone's foot.  He decided it needed to be a girl that it fit, so he tried it on me and it was too small.  He decided to try it on Sky and it fit.  Sky is so lucky!  She gets to marry the prince and live happily ever after!!

Rock band!

After carving pumpkins, we played games.  One game we played was Rock Band.  Eric played the guitar and I sang.  Jayden and I took turns singing.  Jayden also played another guitar with Eric.  One of the songs Eric and I did, we both got 100%.  We were so happy we took a picture!!

Carving pumpkins!

We decided that since Halloween was getting closer, we needed to carve our pumpkins.  Jayden drew the face he wanted on his pumpkin and I carved it for him.  He wanted his to be spooky!  He did a great job designing it!  Jayden did help with the inside stuff.  We all had fun exploring and touching it.  I like how our pumpkins turned out!!!!

London's birthday party!

Tonight was London's birthday party.  We had lots of fun there like always!  They got to decorate an apple with toothpicks and gumdrops.  They got to decorate a sword and shield (boys) and girls did a crown.  Jayden (and Eric) really liked decorating the sword and shield.  The glitter paint took forever to dry.  The kids decided they were ready to play with them and we learned they weren't dry because it got all over them.  Jayden tried a bite of a cupcake.  We had fun!!

Treehouse museum!

We were going to go do a fun activity as a family but Eric got called to work, so Jayden and I went to the Treehouse museum.  We have fun there.  There were not very many people there at all which was nice.  It was quiet.  Jayden loved being a doctor and he played in the hospital for a long time.  We did other things too.  We did the art activity, played with food, played the ipad, etc.  We had a fun time together.

Science!

I have been cleaning a lot in the basement trying to get the rooms the way that I want them.  While I was cleaning, Jayden found some grow-a-something capsules.  He asked if he could do some.  I said sure and we did.  We talked about what might grow, we discussed what was happening to each capsule.  We wondered why some opened faster then others.  We looked at the package to find the dinosaurs that came out on the back.  After they all opened, Jayden blew some bubbles.

Activity days!

I finally have someone helping me with activity days.  She is awesome!  We are going to have fun!  I don't post pictures of the girls in the group because I don't know if it is ok.  I will only post pictures of Jayden.  He gets to go with me to activity days.  We were doing a Halloween fun!  We did popcorn hands, sucker ghosts, and played GHOST (Bingo).  It was lots of fun!

Jayden got the camera and started taking pictures.  He loves to take LOTS of pictures of everything.  We took some pictures of Jayden.  We were having fun!

Primary program!

Today was our ward primary program.  Jayden had two little parts to say.  He had memorized them but I guess he was nervous because he let the leader help him.  He repeated the words loud in the microphone.  Eric and I are so proud of our little boy!   He is the best thing in our lives!!!!  He brings us so much joy and happiness.  We couldn't have gotten a better son!  Heavenly Father knew Jayden was supposed to be in our family!  I am so thankful for being blessed with such a wonderful husband and son!!!

Our family halloween party!

We had our annual family Halloween party.  We went and picked pumpkins at the same place we usually do (a yard on main street).  Jayden LOVES to climb all over the pumpkins.  He selected a orange and green pumpkin that he wanted to paint.  We let the kids paint the pumpkins this year.  Eric got a pumpkin to paint too.  He painted Hulk!  We played some games with the kids--bingo, memory, don't eat frank, pin the nose on the pumpkin, they made a craft, and decorated their own sugar cookies (Jayden tried the frosting.  He said he didn't like it, but I am so proud of him for trying it),  etc.  The kids loved being together and playing.  We ate dinner (Yummy)!  It was a lot of fun!!!!
