It was approaching bedtime because no one could stay awake.  We were watching a movie and Jayden fell asleep.  I looked over and the dogs and cats were asleep.  I thought it was unusual that Ginger was willing to share the body pillow with Drake.  I have the best family!!

Cupcakes and candy land!

Jayden and I decided to make some cupcakes today.  Jayden helped mix the batter and put it in the cups.  We also played some candy land.  He has really enjoyed playing board games lately.  I love spending time with my son!!

I had the day off because it was President's day.  I decided to take Jayden to the Treehouse museum so Eric could take a nap before he left for work.  Everyone else had the same idea because it was VERY busy!!!  Oh my goodness!  There were so many kids and I'm not sure Jayden liked that at all.  Every where he wanted to go, there were kids there already.  He found the sea animals and played there for a while.  He really likes the sea animals.  He liked doing the puppet show.  He liked dressing up as royalty in the castle area.  Even though it was VERY busy, we still had a LOT of fun!!!!

I think we are going to start a tradition for Sundays.  Jayden and I do some learning games on Sunday after church.  We come home and change clothes, he helps me give Diezel a bath, then we do some learning games.  After that, we played some board games.  Jayden LOVES playing games!  He picked Candy Land, Ants in your Pants, and Chutes and Ladders.  He could have played games all day but we need to take a break after and hour or so.  It is so much fun spending time together with my little family!  I love them so much!!!

Union Station!

They added a few hats to some of the areas for the children to play.  Inside the engine, there is a lever you pull and it makes a train horn sound.  Really cool!  Jayden loved watching the model trains.  He ran around so excited to see each one.  We always have a good time at the Union Station!

Treehouse Museum!

I took a mental health day at work today, so I did some stuff in our home.  After that I took Jayden to Wendy's to lunch and then to the Treehouse museum (Eric was sleeping before he went to work).  I didn't check their times and we only had 20 minutes for him to play.  I felt so bad!  I called my mom and she suggest I take him to the Union Station.  Mom went with and we had lots of fun there.

We decided to spend some time after church playing games as a family.  We let Jayden pick.  He chose Candy Land, which we played a couple times and he picked Ants in your Pants, which we played a lot.  Jayden was winning us almost every time with Ants in your Pants.  He is really good!  We had lots of fun!!!!

Kristine's baby shower!

Kristine's friend threw a baby shower for Kris.  I forgot to pull out my camera to take pictures.  Instead I took pictures with her camera for her.  This is a picture of the afghan that I made for her.  I found the pattern on pinterest and wanted to try it.  I really like how it turned out.  Really cute!!!

Being a superhero!!

Jayden really likes pretending to be a superhero.  He will take on any of the 3 avengers we have (Hulk, Iron man, or Captain America).  He really gets into it.  Tonight, he was jumping off the couch onto a lot of pillows and beanbags.  He also brought in many of his stuffed animals and was pretending they were bad guys.  He would set them up and then get on the couch and jump off and attack his stuffed animals.  It was so funny!!!

Jayden really likes Hulk and he gets into character quite a bit.  This is Jayden doing his Hulk smash face.  I love that he closes one eye.  He is so funny!!!!

Jayden is a big Avengers fan.  He got some dress up clothes and masks for Christmas and he hasn't wanted to dress up other than the masks.  We got him some better masks and some other items for his birthday.  Tonight, he wanted to dress up.  It was awesome!!!  We have Hulk, Iron man, and Captain America!
