Yellowstone National Park--day 1!

Eric, Jayden and I drove to Yellowstone National Park for a family vacation this year.  We made a few stops on our drive to the cabin we were staying at.  We stopped and saw a hot spring and a waterfall.  We stayed in a cabin in the park.  While we were unloading our stuff, Jayden tripped in a hole between the cabin and the car and got lots of scrapes.  One of them on his knee was pretty bad.  Thank goodness it stopped bleeding.  I was worried for a minute that we might need to take him to get stitches.  We cleaned and bandaged him up and got some gauze at the store there.  We wanted to wrap his knee so he didn't get germs in his cut because we didn't want any infections.  Jayden called it his cast.  After we got him all taken care of, we decided to go eat.  We were eating and Jayden spilled his chocolate milk.  It got all over his new bandage, his shoes and socks.  Poor kid was having a hard time!  After we ate, we got him cleaned up, then we decided to drive over to Old Faithful.  When we got there it was cold and started to rain.  Thank goodness we took jackets and umbrellas with us.  Jayden loved using his own umbrella.  While we were walking up to Old Faithful it was going off.  We saw the end and then didn't want to wait to see it again.  We figured we would go again the next day.  We went back to the cabin and Jayden drew pictures and wrote words in the notebook grandma gave him (which he absolutely LOVED).
