Today was our big day in the park. We packed food and whatever else we might need for the day (since driving in the park is long between places). We went and saw the waterfall at the grand canyon. It is Eric's favorite part. Jayden really liked it too. We saw lots of mud volcano's and hot pots. Jayden said they smelled gross! We took a little trail by some hot pots. We saw lots of bison, and some elk. We stopped and ate lunch by Yellowstone Lake. It was a really pretty area and nice to see the lake. A bird was trying to get our food and so was a cute chipmunk. We drove around to Old Faithful again and saw it go off this time. It is so cool! I never get tired of seeing it. Jayden got tired and as we started driving back toward the cabin, he fell asleep. We could only see things from the car at that point. We did see all the things we needed to see for him to get his Junior Ranger patch. He is such an awesome kid!!!
