Family Christmas party!

We had our family Christmas party.  It was fun!  It was good to see everyone that we only see at this time of the year.  The children exchanged gifts--Jayden got a police set (guys, car, helicopter), and and plane and guy.  He got a lego set from Santa.  He was excited about that.  After most of the people left, we hung out and did tricks (headstands, etc).  It was a great night!!

Keeping warm!

We went a picked up one of our Christmas presents, as well as did some other shopping.  One time, while Jayden and I were waiting for Eric (he ran into a store and we stayed in the car), Jayden said I'm going to get warm and curled up under the large TV box.  It was funny!

Zoolights!

Eric, Jayden and I met Randy, Sampson, and Sasha at the zoo to see zoo lights.  It was kind of cold, but the lights were neat!  There wasn't many animals to see, but there were lots of lights.  We rode the carousal a few times. 

Christmas party!

My parents had their ward Christmas party.  We went, and Kristine and her kids came up too.  They had a play of the Nativity, and lots of food.  Santa came and Jayden was excited about that.  He asked for an ipad.  I love my little boy so much!

Institute christmas party!

We had our institute Christmas party tonight.  We have a short lesson, then we eat lots of food and play some games.  The teacher, Sister Harris, had some prizes.  Jayden got to help draw names.  I ended up getting a book, The Last Straw.  Jayden got some Lions House rolls mix.  Sister Harris also gave him a gift--a coloring book, crayons, and a zuzu pet.  He loved it!

Diezel loves Jayden!

We were hanging out on the couch, and Diezel started licking Jayden.  It was so funny!  He didn't want to stop licking him. 

Frozen party at the library!

Jayden and I went to a Frozen party at the library.  They told the real story of The snow queen.  They had activities for the children--ice fishing pond, toss a snowball in the snowman, build a snowman, and make a bottle cap ornament.  They also had hot chocolate.  It was fun!  They were going to show the movie after, but we went home and got into our pajamas, made popcorn, and watched it at home.

Gingerbread man!

Jayden had to make a gingerbread man and disguise him so the fox couldn't find him.  Jayden decided to make Hulk.  It was a family project for school.  This is how it turned out.  Really cute!

My birthday!

We went over to my parents house and ate dinner.  Yum!  We also did a puzzle while watching the Christmas devotional by the church.  It was great!  Jayden helped do the puzzles.  He put himself through the back of the folding chair, and said "look, I'm standing up!"  He is so funny!

Santa!

Our ward had a Christmas party.  Some of the primary children did a play of the Christmas story.  Jayden was one of the shepherds.  He did his part so good!  Santa came.  Jayden is getting so big. 

Oregon!

Eric's grandma died, so we went out to Oregon for the funeral.  We went a couple days early to visit with family.  We got to sleep in the trailer, which was nice to have our own space, however it was very cold.  Jayden had fun playing with the cousins.  He liked building with the blocks, and Legos.  It was really cold there, so there wasn't much playing outside.  Eric and the kids did play a little game of soccer.  Needless to say, they were covered in mud!  Jayden did accidently touch the fireplace and burned his hand.  Poor boy!  Eric started juggling for the kids.  Andy joined in and they were juggling together.  The funeral was nice.  I am glad that were attended.  The weather was not nice on the way home.  They had freezing rain in Oregon, so the roads were ice and then it snowed on top of it.  Yucky!!  There was fog and rain on the drive home.  We also got caught in a herd of cows.  It was cool!  We ate at IHOP on the way home.  Jayden looks forward to eating there every time we go to Oregon!  All in all, it was a good trip for the circumstances. 

Christmas tree!

Jayden wanted to decorate the Christmas tree, so we let him put the ornaments on.  We helped with the ones he wanted up high, but he did the rest.  He really enjoyed it.  He did a good job putting them all around the tree.  I love him so much!

Christmas tree jubilee!

We went to the Christmas tree jubilee with my mom, and Kristine and her kids.  It was nice!  People are very creative in decorating Christmas trees.  Santa came, so the kids got to sit on his lap.  Jayden did some crafts, but he didn't want to do all they had.  It was fun!

The stockings were hung.....

We were putting up our Christmas decorations.  Jayden loves to help.  He hung up the stockings.

Doctor!

We were at my parents house, and London and Jayden were playing doctor.  How cute!

Jayden and Rocket!

Jayden and I were up watching the hermit crabs (they came to our house for the Thanksgiving vacation).  Rocket will come sleep on Jayden's bed when I am in there, and so Jayden was petting him and got a picture with him.  So cute!

Turkey hat!

We went to the store to get some things, and Jayden saw this turkey hat.  He put it on!  It was so funny!

Drake!

Drake likes to lay on things.  If there is a blanket, coat, pillow, bag, etc.  He will lay on top of it.  I had put a backpack on the floor and he tried really hard to get comfy with it.  He is too cute!
