Welcome!!

Our family grew by 8 paws!!  We adopted two 8 week old puppies.  They are lab retrievers.  Jayden picked one, and Eric picked the other.  Jayden decided to pick the black lab.  He named him Shadow.  He has asked us for his own dog, so this one is his dog.  We wanted to have two dogs so they could play together while we were gone, so we got a brother.  Eric wanted the brown lab.  He named him Gunner.  They are both boys.  They are really cute and lots of fun!  They are going to keep us really busy but we love them already!!

Beautiful day!

Jayden rode his bike.  He was having fun riding while Eric and I walked around the neighborhood.  Jayden found some neighbors that just put up a basketball hoop and they said he could shoot hoops.  He stayed and shot baskets for a while.  It was such a nice day!

Soccer game!

Jayden played in a soccer game.  He did so good!  His team won 7-2.  After the game, Eric, Jayden and I went and ate at Pizza Pie Cafe.  Yum!

Pinewood derby!

Jayden had his pinewood derby.  He made his car with help from Eric with the power tools.  His car placed 3rd overall.  I'm so proud of him!

Jayden's first soccer game of spring!

Jayden played his first outdoor soccer game of the spring season.  He did well.  His team lost 3-6. After the game, Jayden and I went to IHOP so that Eric could take a nap because he had to work a graveyard shift. 

Jayden played his last basketball game today.  They lost 14-40.  Jayden made two 3 point shots, and two 2 point shots.  He made 10 of the 14 points.  I'm so proud of him and his hard work.  I'm proud of his team.  They really worked hard every game.  It has been so much fun to watch Jayden play basketball this year.

Jayden playing a basketball game.  He made 13 of his teams 19 points.  He played AWESOME!!!!  They lost their game 19-32, but they played really good.  Jayden said he played like Donavon Mitchell.

Jayden played a basketball game.  He is doing so good and improving so much!  He really likes to play and he is fun to watch.  Way to go Jayden!

Jayden played in a futsal game.  He played really well.  His team lost.  I'm really proud of how hard Jayden worked.  He is an awesome soccer player!

We went to a Jazz game.  We took Sawyer with us.  He is Blaine's son.  We had a lot of fun!  It was a great game!!!

It was Dr. Seuss night at Jayden's school.  It was lots of fun!  He got the book he made, played some games, and did the photo booth. 

Reading!

I haven't posted in almost a year.  I can't believe it's been that long.  Time sure does fly!

Blue and Gold banquet!

Jayden had the blue and gold banquet for scouts.  He has only been twice since we found out when it started.  He got an award, 'run with the pack'.  I am so proud of him!!!

Treehouse museum!

Jayden, my mom and I went to the Treehouse museum.  We had lots of fun!  They have a visiting display--Clifford the big red dog.  It had some fun stuff, but we didn't see it all.  Jayden did lots of the things at Treehouse.   He did the participlay and got to be the King.  He did a great job!!  I love him so much!  After the Treehouse, we got some ice cream at Farr's ice cream.  Yummy!!!

Jayden's baptism!

Jayden decided to get baptized!  We are so proud of his decision.  We had many family and friends come to his special day!  I can't believe that he is 8 years old!  He is such an amazing son!  The spirit was so strong!  You could feel it!  It was awesome!!!!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Jayden wanted to build a snowman.  He started making the bottom snowball, and then went and asked Eric if he would build a snowman with him.  They worked on it together.  It turned out really cute!!!
